The aim of this study was to investigate the structural characteristics and in vitro fermentation patterns polysaccharides from Boletus mushrooms. Polysaccharides were solubilized fruit bodies selected mushrooms auripes, B. bicolor, griseus using subcritical water extraction. characterized for their general physicochemical pattern, constituent monosaccharides molecular weight. A simulated model used utilization by gut microbiota consequent modulation microbial communities. Results showed...
A mutational analysis of the enterocin biosynthesis genes revealed that putative oxygenase and methyltransferase gene products EncM EncK, respectively, jointly catalyze a biosynthetic Favorskii-like rearrangement. Inactivation either terminated production caused accumulation four nonrearranged, nonmethylated polyketides. The structure elucidation new wailupemycins E−G is reported.
Pneumocandins are lipohexapeptides of the echinocandin family that inhibit fungal 1,3-β-glucan synthase. Most pathway steps have been identified previously. However, lipoinitiation reaction has not yet experimentally verified. Herein, we investigate step pneumocandin biosynthesis in Glarea lozoyensis and demonstrate gene product, GLligase, catalyzes this step. Disruption GLHYD, a encoding putative type II thioesterase sitting upstream acyl side chain synthase gene, GLPKS4, revealed GLHYD was...
Two new secalonic acid derivatives, acids H and I (1 2), one known compound, D (3), were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Penicillum oxalicum. The planar structures relative configurations of compounds elucidated by analyses their 1D 2D NMR high-resolution mass spectrometric data. The absolute established comparison experimental calculated electronic circular dichroism spectra. The in vitro cytotoxic activities 1 2 evaluated against selected human cell lines.Cancer is leading causes...
Pleurotus eryngii oligosaccharides (PEOs) were prepared by hydrolyzing P. polysaccharides with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The antioxidant activities of PEOs evaluated. Results revealed that PEO yields affected reaction time, temperature and H2O2 concentration. These parameters optimized as follows: 2 h; temperature, 85C; concentration, 2%. yield reached 10.58% under the conditions. showed strong reducing power high scavenging against hydroxyl 2,2-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl radicals. Therefore,...
Pleurotus nebrodensis were packaged with PVC and PE different thickness (0.03 mm 0.05 mm) at 4°С. Package gas composition, respiration rate relative electrolyte leakage measured during storage 4°С 95%RH for 28 days. The results showed that auto modified atmosphere pattern would be formed 7th day of the storage. concentration in package films was 0.1~5% O 2 6%~10%CO after 7days, then maintaining stable following days test. Compared to 0.03 film, film more effective decreasing pleurotus delay...
To study the toxicity-decreasing and synergistic effect of intracellular extracellular polysaccharides from Phellinus igniarius on S180 mice. The PIP PIE were extracted products liquid submerged fermentation P. igniarius. Transplanting mice tumor models established so as to observe changes in inhibiting rate, indexes spleen thymus, body weight, peripheral blood cells IFN-gamma levels when CTX was used alone combination with results indicate that can increase activity immunity, attenuate...
