The discovery of selective and potent inhibitors through de novo pathways is essential to combat drug resistance in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) infections. Recent studies have highlighted that neplanocin A (NepA) derivatives are biologically the virus (HBV). In this study, we designed, synthesized, evaluated various pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine-based NepA analogues (4a-h) for their anti-HBV activity. Notably, analogue 4g demonstrated significant activity against HBV replication, with EC50 (HBV...

This study assessed the real-world effectiveness and safety of enzyme replacement therapy (ERT), cerliponase alfa, to treat neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis type 2 (CLN2) disease. Data from DEM-CHILD database were analyzed, comparing patients who initiated ERT outside clinical trials with natural history (NH) controls. Treated matched 1:1 NH controls on baseline age combined motor-language (ML) score CLN2 rating scale. Rate ML decline, time unreversed 2-point decline or 0, 0 assessed. Safety...

The present study evaluated the effects of omega-3 (ω-3) fatty acid-rich linseed supplementation on reproductive performance, endocrine profile, and biochemical profile ewes reared in subtropical climates. Forty-eight acyclic clinically healthy Marwari sheep, aged 1.5–2.5 years with no parity, were divided into four groups ( n = 12 each). Ewes control group (group I) fed only a basal feed, whereas treatment II, III, IV diet along 10%, 15%, 20% linseed, respectively, daily dry matter basis....

Abstract Mycobacterium tuberculosis codes for an essential NAD + ‐dependent DNA ligase ( Mtu LigA) which is a novel, validated, and attractive drug target. We created mutants of the enzyme by systematically deleting domains from C‐terminal end to probe their functional roles in nick joining reaction. Deletion just BRCT domain LigA resulted total loss activity vitro assays. However, mutant could form AMP‐ligase intermediate that suggests defects caused deletion occur primarily at steps after...

The negative, zero, or positive depends on ratio magnitude electric charge ADM radial distance mass. As expected, at large values distance, our result gives Reissner–Nordström metric.
