The photodegradation of dye pollutants under visible light irradiation in TiO2 dispersions continues to draw considerable attention because the greater effective utilization solar energy and its potential application treating wastewaters from textile photographic industries. To get a better handle on mechanistics details this TiO2-assisted dyes with radiation, process was examined by UV−visible spectroscopy, high-performance liquid chromatography, silica gel thin-layer matrix-assisted laser...

A simple, yet robust route to prepare polymer nanoparticles with tunable internal structures through supramolecular assembly within emulsion droplets is presented. Nanoparticles various morphologies, including dispersed spheres, spirals, stacked toroids, and concentric lamellae, are obtained due the 3D confinement variation of hydrogen-bonding agent. This method also allows us form mesoporous particles further disassembly supramoleclar assemblies by rupturing hydrogen bonding.

Here we report the structural control of polystyrene-b-polyisoprene-b-poly(2-vinylpyridine) (PS-b-PI-b-P2VP) asymmetric ABC triblock copolymer particles under 3D confinement by tuning interactions among blocks. The additives, including 3-n-pentadecylphenol, homopolystyrene, and solvents, which can modulate polymer blocks, play significant roles in particle morphology. Moreover, structured be disassembled into isolated micellar aggregates with novel morphologies or mesoporous tunable pore...

Designing safer chemicals is an integral part of green chemistry that supports good health and well-being. The teaching molecule design through relevant courses has important implications for the education sustainable chemists. In these courses, training in toxicology hazard assessment essential students to study benign chemical promotes social environmental justices. However, been rarely included course molecular design, at postgraduate level less involved. this study, we developed online...

Extensive use of chemical pesticides in agriculture is an effective and economical way to improve food production. Meanwhile, adverse impacts on environmental sustainability public health have increasingly emerged, leading widespread negative comments about pesticides. When it comes pesticides, teenage students who know little agricultural chemistry tend view them as harmful. Nevertheless, they are also puzzled why pesticide applications not been stopped despite countless comments. Hence,...

Ag3PO4/Ag/Bi2O2CO3 composites were prepared by a hydrothermal and precipitation method. The morphology, structure, valence state of the photo-catalysts characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Scanning (SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface areas, UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra (UV-vis DRS). They applied as heterogeneous catalysts in synthesis esters from aldehydes (or alcohols) alcohols imines amines...

Bi(NO3)3·5H2O and (NH4)6Mo7O24·4H2O were used as precursors to synthesize flaky γ-Bi2MoO6 samples by a hydrothermal method, Pt/γ-Bi2MoO6 with different mass fractions prepared an NaBH4 reduction method. Alpha alkylation of benzyl alcohol acetophenone photocatalysts under visible light irradiation was performed, the activity 4 wt % (γ-Bi2MoO6 nitric acid pH = 9, reaction temperature 180 °C) best. The photocatalytic conditions optimized changing various kinds variables, such type catalyst,...

Pesticide residues treatment is a crucial issue for both agricultural production and environmental protection. In recent years, designing self-cleaning nanoformulations has emerged as promising strategy reducing pesticide in convenient cost-effective manner. However, traditional physical blending methods of photodegradation reagents with nanocarriers have limitations terms residue degradation efficiency active ingredient efficacy. Here, new type timing nanoherbicide dicamba@mSiO2/ATA/TiO2...
