The first measurements of the invariant differential cross sections inclusive π0 and η meson production at mid-rapidity in proton–proton collisions s=0.9TeV s=7TeV are reported. measurement covers ranges 0.4<pT<7GeV/c 0.3<pT<25GeV/c for these two energies, respectively. mesons was measured range 0.4<pT<15 GeV/c. Next-to-Leading Order perturbative QCD calculations, which consistent with spectrum s=0.9TeV, overestimate those s=7TeV, but agree η/π0 ratio s=7TeV.
The EIC Comprehensive Chromodynamics Experiment (ECCE) detector has been designed to address the full scope of proposed Electron Ion Collider (EIC) physics program as presented by National Academy Science and provide a deeper understanding quark-gluon structure matter. To accomplish this, ECCE offers nearly acceptance energy coverage along with excellent tracking particle identification. was be built within budget envelope set out project while simultaneously managing cost schedule risks....
We present a study on the applicability of transverse mass scaling for identified particle spectra in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV based data taken by ALICE experiment LHC. The measured yields are parametrized and compared to estimates obtained from generalized approach applied different reference spectra. It is found that not able describe over full range momentum. At low $p_{\rm T}$, deviations $20$% or more obtained, particular if pions used as particles. A better...
Direct photon flow is measured by subtracting the contribution of decay from inclusive via double ratio R γ , which defines excess direct over photons. The sample affected a modest contamination different background sources, often ignored in measurements. However, due to sensitivity measurement even residual may significantly bias extracted flow.In particular, for measurements using conversions, are very powerful at low transverse momentum, these effects can be substantial.Assuming three types...

Objects which are only subject to the electroweak force an ideal probe of QCD in high density and temperature environments as they carry information about conditions during their production out QGP without interacting with it. Thus can be used characterize initial state well several properties its evolution. A high density plasma was produced in a pressure cell by irradiation of target with pulsed laser. The Stark effect the Hα line Hydrogen studied an electron range from 1⋅1017 cm−3 to 1.7⋅1020 cm−3. measured widths and shifts are compared data literature.
We investigated the high temperature decomposition behavior of wurtzite phase Ti$_{1-x}$Al$_{x}$N films using experimental methods and first-principles calculations. Single metastable (x = 0.65, 0.75, 085 0.95) solid solution were grown by cathodic arc deposition low duty cycle pulsed substrate-bias voltage. First-principles calculated elastic constants show a strong dependence on alloy composition. The predicted diagram shows miscibility gap with an unstable region. High resolution scanning...

Exclusive heavy quarkonium photoproduction is one of the most popular processes in EIC, which has a large cross section and simple final state. Due to gluonic nature exchange Pomeron, this process can be related gluon distributions nucleus.
