The aim study was to outcomes predictors mortality patients with acute OP requiring mechanical ventilation. Methods: A retrospective conducted intensive care unit 117 were included. Diagnosis performed from history taken either patient or patient's relatives. Demographic data, month year, mode poisoning, age group, duration ventilation, time starting pralidoxime (PAM), recorded. Design: Randomized, controlled, double blind, prospective study. Patients Methods: 60 patients admitted ICU May 1, 2007 July 31, either sex, age ranging between 20 years, requiring mechanical ventilation were screened for Following intubation patients, HME device was attached breathing...

Airway management in patients of ankylosing spondylitis remains a challenge for anaesthesiologists. Many new airway devices have been used securing these patients. The Airtraq(®) optical laryngoscope is one the rigid laryngoscopes with proximal view finder that reflects an image transferred from distal tip blade through series lenses, prisms and mirrors. We report two cases who were scheduled total hip replacement subtotal thyroidectomy successfully intubated using laryngoscope.

This study evaluates whether PBS can also ICU patients colonized or infected with Carbapenem -resistant Enterobacterales (CRE). Methods: CRE were selected, and each component was individually assessed. Outcomes noted after 14 days, a cutoff score for prediction analyzed. Results: Of 30 patients, 26 (86%) expired 4 (14%) survived. A of ≥4 associated significant increase...

Children in rural India are a vulnerable group for snake bites. Improper elicitation of history and atypical presentations could lead to misdiagnosis delay treatment. We reporting the case an 8-year-old male child who presented with convulsions, unconsciousness hypertension was initially managed as hypertensive encephalopathy showing no sign improvement even after 20 hs. The when reviewed suggested neurotoxic bite although patient did not have any classical local findings. Anti-snake venom...
