The main particularities of sulfonate groups hydration, water molecule, and alkaline metal cation translation mobility were revealed by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) ionic conductivity measurements techniques in cation-exchange membranes MSC based on cross-linked sulfonated polystyrene (PS) grafted polyethylene with ion-exchange capacity 2.5 mg-eq/g. Alkaline hydration numbers (h) calculated from temperature dependences 1H chemical shift molecule for equilibrated vapor at RH = 95% are 5,...

Structural and morphological features of graft polystyrene (PS) polyethylene (PE) copolymers produced by post-radiation chemical polymerization have been investigated methods X-ray microanalysis, electron microscopy, DSC wetting angles measurement. The studied samples differed in the degree graft, iron(II) sulphate content, sizes PE films distribution polymer over polyolefin cross section. It is shown that all cases sample surfaces are enriched with PS. As content PS increases, its...

In the present work, effect of divinylbenzene (DVB) on kinetics post-radiation chemical graft polymerization styrene (St) polyethylene (PE) film and its structural morphological features were investigated. It has been found that dependence degree polystyrene (PS) grafting DVB concentration in solution is extreme. An increase rate at low concentrations associated with a decrease mobility growing chains PS. A high diffusion St iron(II) ions cross-linked network structure macromolecules...

Thin films of conducting polymer complexes with polysulfonic acids various structures were electrochemically deposited onto transparent FTO electrodes. The behavior the polymer-based optical ammonia vapor sensors in response to concentrations vapors, ranging from 5 135 ppm, was investigated, including time and amplitude. It found that nature polymers (poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), polypyrrole, polyaniline), as well structure polyacids, affected sensing performance obtained complexes.

The olefin separation from their mixture with paraffins by facilitated transport membranes is a very important process for the further macromolecular compounds production. Membranes loaded silver ions, which are responsible transport, instable time due to reduction, while those containing protons catalyze polymerization of olefins. In this work, based on polyethylene grafted sulfonated polystyrene in various ionic forms (H+, Li+, Na+) were used first ethylene/ethane mixture. influence...
