Abstract Activation of the KRAS oncogene is a source replication stress, but how this stress generated and it tolerated by cancer cells remain poorly understood. Here we show that induction G12V expression in untransformed triggers H3K27me3 HP1-associated chromatin compaction an RNA transcription dependent manner, resulting fork slowing cell death. Furthermore, elevated ATR necessary sufficient for tolerance -induced to expand stress-tolerant (RSTCs). PrimPol phosphorylated at Ser255,...
Abstract DNA replication stress (RS), a prevalent feature of various malignancies, arises from both genetic mutations and genotoxic exposure. Elevated RS levels increase the vulnerability cancer cells to ataxia telangiectasia Rad3-related kinase inhibitors (ATRis). Here, we screened for damage response that enhance ATRi-induced cytotoxicity using SWI/SNF complex-deficient identified potent synergy between ATRi poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor (PARPi), particularly in SMARCA4-deficient...
We have discovered a novel candidate for spin liquid state in ruthenium oxide composed of dimers $S = $ 3/2 spins Ru$^{5+}$,Ba$_3$ZnRu$_2$O$_9$. This compound lacks long range order down to 37 mK, which is temperature 5000-times lower than the magnetic interaction scale around 200 K. Partial substitution Zn can continuously vary ground from an antiferromagnetic spin-gapped through state. indicates that spin-liquid emerges delicate balance inter- and intra-dimer interactions, dimer plays...
We have measured the Seebeck coefficient and resistance under light illumination of 365 nm in a ceramic sample ZnO at 100, 150, 200 K, analyzed photo-Seebeck photoconductivity using two-layer model. evaluated photo-doped carrier concentration from magnitude to be order 1019 cm−3, as is similar case thin-film single-crystal samples. The photo-doping effects are compared among ceramic, single crystal,
We have prepared polycrystalline samples of the trimer Ir oxide BaIrO3 with face-shared Ir3O12 trimers, and investigated origin phase transition at 182 K by measuring resistivity, thermopower, magnetization synchrotron X-ray diffraction. propose a possible electronic model mechanism, starting from localized electron picture on basis Rietveld refinement. Within this model, can be basically regarded as Mott insulator, when is identified to one pseudo-atom or lattice site. The viewed insulator...
We present the single-crystalline x-ray diffraction study on Ba4Ru3O10 consisting of corner-shared Ru3O12 trimers. The crystal structure is re-determined from 78 to 300 K across an antiferromagnetic transition at 105 K. orthorhombic symmetry (Cmca, space group No. 64) preserved all temperatures measured. This presents exceptionally long Ru-O distances characterized by a significant distribution within trimer. A bond valence sum calculation suggests that charge disproportionation trimer...
Abstract We investigate the origin of soft X-ray excess component in Seyfert galaxies observed when their luminosity exceeds 0.1% Eddington ( <?CDATA ${L}_{\mathrm{Edd}}$?> ). The evolution a dense blob radiatively inefficient accretion flow (RIAF) is simulated by applying radiation magnetohydrodynamic code, CANS+R. When rate onto ${10}^{7}\,{M}_{\odot }$?> black hole 10% ${\dot{M}}_{\mathrm{Edd}}={L}_{\mathrm{Edd}}/{c}^{2}$?> , where c speed light), shrinks vertically because radiative...

We have prepared polycrystalline samples of LaSrRh$_{1-x}$Ga$_x$O$_4$ and LaSr$_{1-x}$Ca$_x$RhO$_4$,and measured the x-ray diffraction, resistivity, Seebeck coefficient, magnetization electron spin resonance in order to evaluate their electronic states. The energy gap evaluated from resistivity coefficient systematically changes with Ga concentration, suggests that system a small polaron insulator band insulator. find all show Curie-Weiss-like susceptibility Weiss temperature 1 K, which is...
We report the effects of Ir impurity on physical properties Ba4Ru3−xIrxO10 (0 ≤ x 0.5) which is composed three face-shared RuO6 octahedra (Ru trimer). discuss origin unique electronic phase transition from paramagnetic metal to antiferromagnetic insulator at 105 K in terms hybridized orbitals Ru 4d trimer. We report the Ca-concentration dependence of crystal structure, electrical transport and magnetic properties in charge-ordered manganite Pr1−xCaxMnO3 for 0.40 ≤ x 0.50. have observed an abrupt change thermoelectric power at ∼ 0.425, which implies that phase discontinuously changes this composition. further find lattice distortion ferromagnetic volume fraction also particular concentration. These results indicate checker-board-type charge order near = 0.50 is unstable below 0.425. A possible...
Abstract Strong soft X-ray emission called excess is often observed in luminous active galactic nuclei (AGN). It has been suggested that the X-rays are emitted from a warm ( T = 10 6 ∼ 7 K) region optically thick for Thomson scattering (warm Comptonization region). Motivated by recent observations appears changing look AGN (CLAGN) during state transition dim without broad lines to bright with lines, we performed global three-dimensional radiation magnetohydrodynamic simulations, assuming...

Abstract We systematically investigate the variability of polarized X-rays on a timescale few seconds in low/hard state black hole binary Cygnus X-1. The correlation between polarization degrees and angles with X-ray intensity was analyzed using data collected by Imaging Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) 2022 June. Given that X-1 is non-periodic, flux peaks were aggregated to suppress statistical fluctuations. divided temporal profiles these into seven time segments evaluated for each segment....
Abstract We present the results of global three-dimensional radiation magnetohydrodynamic simulations formation soft X-ray emitting regions in active galactic nuclei by applying a code based on M1-closure scheme. Flow separation occurring around a bluff body causes pressure drop on the rear surface and formation of vortices in wake, which eventually cause drag increase structural vibrations. Various types flow controls, both passive active have been studied to remedy such problems. Recently, plasma actuator has attracted attention as novel device for control. It is composed two electrode dielectric layer between them. High AC voltage produces these electrodes induces force onto flow. In present...
The visual tracking problem can be solved by performing template matching on each frame, which treated as a dynamic optimization problem. On the other hand, Charged Particle Swarm Optimization (CPSO) is PSO variant for optimization, maintains swarm diversity introducing charged particles and repulsion vectors into velocity update step. CPSO uses unified pre-determined amount of charge all particles, difficult to deal with various moves optimal solution. Instead value, in this paper, we...
