Abstract The electrochemical reduction reaction of carbon dioxide (CO 2 RR) is considered to be an effective way realize neutrality. As a type intensively studied materials, covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with tunable pore structure and various functional groups are promising catalysts for CO RR. Herein, COF synthesized by 2,6‐diaminoanthraquinone 2,4,6‐triformylphloroglucinol employed assist the synthesis electrocatalysts from Cu single atoms (SAs) nanoclusters controlling...

Abstract In this work, proteins in extracellular polymeric substances extracted from anaerobic, anoxic and aerobic sludges of wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) were analyzed to probe their origins functions. Extracellular WWTP identified using shotgun proteomics 130, 108 114 samples classified, respectively. Most originated cell part most major molecular functions catalytic activity binding activity. The results exhibited that the main roles activated multivalence cations organic molecules...

Abstract The structure of bio-carriers is one the key operational characteristics a biofilm reactor. goal this study to develop series novel fullerene-type using three-dimensional printing (3DP) technique. 3DP can fabricate with more specialized structures compared traditional fabrication processes. In research, three types were fabricated technique and then bio-carrier K3 (from AnoxKaldnes) in areas physicochemical properties growth. Images acquired by 3D profiling SEM indicated that...

Abstract Large rivers are commonly regulated by damming, yet the effects of such disruption on bacterioplankton community structures have not been adequately studied. The aim this study was to explore biogeographical patterns present under dam regulation and uncover major drivers structuring communities. Bacterioplankton assemblages in Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR) were analyzed using Illumina Miseq sequencing comparing seven sites located within TGR before after impoundment. This approach...

The widespread use of antibiotics and the induced antibiotic resistance genes have attracted much attention in recent years. longshore sediments water-level-fluctuating zone Three Gorges Reservoir were selected to investigate spatial-temporal distribution two different operation stages (low-water level summer high-water winter). kinds tetracycline (tetracycline, oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline) three [tet(A), tet(C), tet(M)] analyzed quantified. results showed that tetracyclines riverine,...

Rapid and accurate measurement of the soil organic carbon (SOC) content is a pre-condition for sustainable grain production land development, contributes to neutrality in agricultural industry. To provide technical support development utilization resources, SOC can be estimated using Vis-NIR diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. However, spectral redundancy co-linearity issues spectra pose extreme challenges analysis model construction. This study compared effects different pre-processing...

Current algal-bacterial consortia require high hydraulic retention times (HRTs, 2–10 days) to efficiently remove pollutants from domestic wastewaters. A novel biofilm reactor was developed for a much lower HRT. The results showed that an HRT of 12 h ensured 90% removal organic matter and ammonium, phosphate approximately 30%. Decreasing the 8 significantly deteriorated reactor's pollutant efficiencies increasing 24 did not improve these efficiencies. Illumination, which light source algae,...
