Actinomycosis of the tongue is uncommon, but without proper treatment, it causes extensive tissue destruction. A mass that may mimic both benign and malignant neoplasms can be seen at clinical presentation mislead diagnosis. Early diagnosis critical usually difficult with cultures or imaging.
