Surficial sediment samples along the coastal area of province Thai Binh in Vietnam have been collected and analysed by modified Tessier method for mercury content. The levels these were found range between 0.12–3.79 mg/kg. Elevated concentrations observed some locations close to tidal marshes, large aquaculture productions or low-lying areas. highest level was detected a terrain near productions. majority species all witnessed fraction bound organic matters. predominance this is possibly...

This study performed an experimental investigation of asphalt concrete with and without fiberglass geogrid reinforcement, using specimens in the laboratory situ. A 100kN/m was used. The results showed that flexural strength increased by 24.82%, deformation significantly reduced, elastic modulus did not improve significantly. In addition, Hamburg Wheel Tracker test, reinforced samples had a 7.41%reduced rutting depth. Finally, two segments situ were also tested showing 24.27% structural...

This paper presents an experimental study of rice husk ash-cement-based soil for layers in roadway construction. Rice ash (RHA) used this is a by-product milling. In work, twelve proportion mixes were with varying quantities RHA (0-30%), and Portland cement blended amounts 4, 6, 8%. The specimens prepared by the Proctor mould method, conditioned at room temperature, tested soaked unsoaked conditions. Specified curing periods 7, 14, 28 days applied all types specimens. Some engineering tests...

In this study, the deflection and stress field of perfect imperfect (with without porosities) functionally graded (FG) cylindrical panels are determined following first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT). The panel rested on two-parameter elastic foundation (Pasternak foundation) under pressure loads worked in a hygro-thermal environment. Navier’s solution has been used for simply supported to analyze effects porosity, geometrical parameters, as well temperature humidity field. validated...
