The thermal effect on the phase evolution and crystallinity of raw cobalt-modified Brazilian bentonites was investigated. modified were prepared dispersing bentonite particles in Co2+ hydroxide gels. samples characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, analyses energy dispersive spectroscopy. An endothermic peak around 900 °C indicated formation olivine. A test with benzyl alcohol confirmed catalytic activity as acidic catalyst for oxidation.
This study presents the preparation and characterization of composite materials using Plastic Waste from Hydrapulper (PWH) paper industries extruded with sugar cane fiber residues ethanol industries.
