In this work, we study the performance of organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells based on PTB7:PC 71 BM blend and use an alternative metal cathode called field's (FM) (Bi/In/Sn: 32.5%, 51%, 16.5%), which can be easily deposited through a vacuum-free process at regular atmosphere low temperature (90 °C). The charge extraction losses involved with FM, in combination electron layer, case widely used...
Abstract In the last decade, halide perovskites have seen tremendous advancements, primarily in field of solar cells and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). However, their remarkable optical electronic properties are not only amenable for use LEDs; as they can also be used several other applications. While most research has focused on lead-based perovskites, lead-free counterparts offer potential advantages. Some these advantages include reduced toxicity, improved stability, a more diverse...
In this Research Article, the effect of two techniques for top-electrode deposition in organic photovoltaics (OPVs) cells with configuration ITO/PEDOT:PSS/PTB7-Th:PC71BM/PFN/top-electrode is analyzed. One was made by evaporation under high vacuum, meanwhile other carried out at normal room atmosphere; former, a double layer Ca and eutectic alloy Field's metal (FM) thermally evaporated, while latter FM deposited just melting dropping it on top delimited active area temperatures about 90 °C....
In this work, scanning probe microscopies (SPMs) are used for the analysis of PBDB-T, ITIC, and PBDB-T:ITIC layers solar cells (OSCs). Scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) images PBDB-T reveal that thin films (<1 nm) tend to form worm-like pattern (amorphous type) domains with an average chain-to-chain distance 950 pm; likewise, STM ITIC show side arms chain-like patterns. blend suggest why could facilitate charge dissociation. Further, a strong interchain π-π interaction molecules promote...
Abstract With the view to altering lipophilicity and electron accepting ability of tetraphenyl‐ carbo ‐benzene scaffold, peripheral fluorination C 18 ring through aromatic linkers was envisaged from Ph 6 o ‐ t Bu 2 4 references, by replacement two substituents with p ‐CF 3 ‐C H counterparts ( F Tol). The synthesis relied on a [8+10] macrocyclization involving common bis(trifluorotolyl)‐tetraynedione, followed reductive aromatization resulting [6]pericyclynediols. While Tol proved be hardly...
