A successful hexagonal Cu2S p-type semiconductor thin film using DC magnetron sputtering is reported. Films with thickness gradients were deposited by taking advantage of deposition geometry and target dimensions. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the exclusive formation phase.
