Abstract During the last decade, generation and accumulation of petabase-scale high-throughput sequencing data have resulted in great challenges, including access to human data, as well transfer, storage, sharing enormous amounts data. To promote data-driven biological research, Korean government announced that all generated from government-funded research projects should be deposited at Korea BioData Station (K-BDS), which consists multiple databases for individual types. Here, we introduce...

Cytochrome P450 monooxygenases (CYPs) are useful catalysts for oxidation reactions. Self-sufficient CYPs harbour a reductive domain covalently connected to and known their robust catalytic activity with great potential as biocatalysts. In an effort expand genetic sources of self-sufficient CYPs, we devised sequence-based screening system identify them in soil metagenome. We constructed metagenome library performed CYP genes. A new gene, syk181, was identified from the library. Phylogenetic...

Strain IMCC2047 was isolated from the Yellow Sea using dilution-to-extinction culturing. The strain shown to occupy a distinct phylogenetic position within Gammaproteobacteria. Here we present genome sequence of IMCC2047, which harbors genes for various metabolic pathways, including proteorhodopsin and ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase.

Abstract The nuclear ribosomal Internal Transcribed Spacer region (ITS), and three chloroplast loci (trnL-trnF, rps16 trnL) were also carried out in this study. Morphological analysis of leaves, stems, flowers is used to identify visual differences. This study was the purpose analyzed morphological phylogenetic relationships among ten taxa Orthosiphon from DNA sequences. results that difference stems very striking seven aristatus (OGP OGW) O. endanghidayatae (OWW, OG + W OW W). trees...
