The facile pyrolysis of a bipyridyl metal-organic framework, MOF-253, produces N-doped porous carbons (Cz-MOF-253), which exhibit excellent catalytic activity in the Knoevenagel condensation reaction and outperform other nitrogen-containing MOF-derived carbons. More importantly, by virtue their high Lewis basicity nature, Cz-MOF-253-supported Pd nanoparticles (Pd/Cz-MOF-253-800) show performance one-pot sequential condensation-hydrogenation reaction.
Abstract We report the synthesis and catalytic application of intermetallic PtSn nanoparticles confined in MSWs (Mesoporous Silica Wells) semi‐hydrogenation acetylene. Platinum with a size 2.9 nm supported on amine‐functionalized ∼180 silica spheres were enmeshed mesoporous shell. After addition tin via polyol method, we obtained final x @MSW (x=0.30, 0.50, 0.70, 1.0 2.0). Owing to encapsulation sub‐5 bimetallic particles are shown be monodisperse well protected against aggregation sphere...
The main problems encountered in aqueous zinc ion batteries (ZIBs) include interfacial side reactions, as well the corrosion and passivation of anode. Here, we propose a Zn anode with 3D ordered macroporous (3DOM) architecture missing-linker ZIF-8 framework (Zn@Fc-ZIF-8), exhibiting exceptional stability for over 4000 hours at current density 0.25 mA cm−2 symmetric cell, surpassing bare longevity by 30 times. Furthermore, embedding carbon nanotubes (CNTs) within 3DOM Fc-ZIF-8 skeleton to...
