Thus, it is essential design multifunctional and develop their applications. The strategy that constructing high-dimensional coordination polymers facilitates the application scope a viologen-based photochromic system put forward confirmed for first time. Herein, novel multistimuli-responsive Zn-MOF with two-dimensional framework has been successfully designed...
Organic semiconductors with high-spin ground states are fascinating because they could enable fundamental understanding on the spin-related phenomenon in light element and provide opportunities for organic magnetic quantum materials. Although have been observed some quinoidal type small molecules or doped semiconductors, semiconducting polymers at their neutral state rarely reported. Here we report three high-mobility different spin states. We show that polymer building blocks...
Quinolone antibiotic residues, norfloxacin (NORF) and ciprofloxacin (CIP), have attracted more attention due to their frequent detection in surface water food field, which seriously threaten the health of animals humans. Rapid efficient NORF CIP is critical for environmental testing ecosystems. Herein, two novel isostructural viologen-functionalized Ln(III) complexes [Ln2L0.5(IPA)3]n (Ln = Eu, 1; Tb, 2; L N,N'-bis (2-carboxyethyl)-4,4'-bipyridridylium dichloride, H2IPA isophthalic acid) with...
The facile pyrolysis of a bipyridyl metal-organic framework, MOF-253, produces N-doped porous carbons (Cz-MOF-253), which exhibit excellent catalytic activity in the Knoevenagel condensation reaction and outperform other nitrogen-containing MOF-derived carbons. More importantly, by virtue their high Lewis basicity nature, Cz-MOF-253-supported Pd nanoparticles (Pd/Cz-MOF-253-800) show performance one-pot sequential condensation-hydrogenation reaction.
Abstract Multifunctional metamaterials (MFMs) capable of energy harvesting and vibration control are particularly attractive for smart structures, wearable/biointegrated electronics, intelligent robotics. Here, a novel MFM based on triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs), which can harvest environmental reduce simultaneously, is reported. The unit cells the consist local resonator, an integrated contact‐ separation mode TENG, spiral‐shaped connecting beams. A multiphysics theoretical model...
Stable carbon-based polyradicals exhibiting strong spin-spin coupling and slow depolarization processes are particularly attractive functional materials. A new molecular motif synthesized by a convenient method that allows the integration of stable, high-spin radicals to (hetero)aromatic polycycles has been developed, as illustrated non-Kekulé diradical showing triplet ground state with long persistency (τ1/2 ≈31 h) in air. Compared widely used 1,3-phenylene, newly designed...
Understanding metal-metal bonding involving f-block elements has been a challenging goal in chemistry. Here we report series of mixed-valence di-metallofullerenes, ThDy@C2n (2n = 72, 76, 78, and 80) ThY@C2n 72 78), which feature single electron actinide-lanthanide bonds, characterized by structural, spectroscopic computational methods. Crystallographic characterization unambiguously confirmed that Th Y or Dy are encapsulated inside variably sized fullerene carbon cages. The ESR study...
Abstract Molecular doping plays an important role in controlling the carrier concentration of organic semiconductors. However, introduction dopant counterions often results increased energetic disorder and traps due to molecular packing disruption Coulomb potential wells. To date, no general strategy has been proposed reduce counterion-induced structural disorder. Here, we demonstrate critical non-covalent interactions (NCIs) between polymers. Employing a computer-aided approach, identified...
Keratinases are valuable enzymes for converting feather keratin waste into bioactive products but often suffer from poor substrate specificity and low catalytic efficiency. This study reported the creating of a novel keratinase with targeted adherence specific degradation on keratins by fusing prepeptidase C-Terminal (PPC) domain. A PPC domain metalloprotease E423 specifically adsorbed hydrogen bonds hydrophobic interactions in time- temperature-dependent manner. Stepwise N-/C-terminal...
