Although single metal atoms (SMAs) have been extensively investigated as unique active sites in single-atom catalysts, the possible of host catalysts unfortunately neglected previous studies. In SMAs can promote chemical and catalytic activities atoms, which may act secondary sites, resulting a significant synergistic effect on performance. Using density functional theory calculations, we studied oxygen evolution reaction (OER) reduction (ORR) two different types sites: (M1) neighboring...

Improvement of electrocaloric effect was investigated in the lead‐free undoped and Mn ‐doped Ba 0.65 Sr 0.35 TiO 3 ceramics prepared by spark plasma sintering process. Owing to merit process, a fully dense with fine grain sizes could be obtained. The ( EC ) can significantly enhanced from 0.83 K for conventional sintered 3.08 plasma‐sintered since dielectric strength dramatically increased. This work indicated an effective way achieve system at room temperature.

Aqueous solutions containing Zn(OH)42− ions were prepared by adding 50 ml of 1.5 mol l−1 aqueous alkali metal hydroxide (MOH: M = Li, Na, K, Cs) to 0.1 zinc nitrate hydrate (Zn(NO3)2·6H2O). Zinc oxide (ZnO) crystallites obtained heating at ≥348 or 368 K for 3 h. The morphology depended on both the temperature solution and used obtain ions. A thermodynamic potential for Ba1-xSrxTiO3 solid solutions is developed, and the corresponding properties of single crystals are calculated. The predicted temperature-composition phase diagram from agrees well with experimental measurements. Based on this potential, energy storage performances electrocaloric effects obtained using phase-field method. It found that there an optimal Sr concentration which maximizes discharged density a crystal under applied electric field. Ba0.8Sr0.2TiO3,...

Dielectric response of Y3Fe5O12 ceramics was investigated over broad temperature and frequency ranges. Three dielectric relaxations were identified in the range from 125to620K. A Debye-type relaxation at low temperatures (125–320K) with an activation energy 0.29eV is shown to originate carrier hopping process between Fe2+ Fe3+. In a higher (320–620K), (f≦10kHz) 0.84eV most likely arises inhomogeneous structure, such as grain boundaries. Another wider has similar conduction (Ea=1.00eV)...
