We address the problem of protecting some sensitive knowledge in transactional databases. The challenge is on actionable for strategic decisions, but at same time not losing great benefit association rule mining. To accomplish that, we introduce a new, efficient one-scan algorithm that meets privacy protection and accuracy mining, without putting risk effectiveness data mining per se.

Despite its benefit in a wide range of applications, data mining techniques also have raised number ethical issues. Some such issues include those privacy, security, intellectual property rights, and many others. In this paper, we address the privacy problem against unauthorized secondary use information. To do so, introduce family geometric transformation methods (GDTMs) which ensure that process will not violate up to certain degree security. We focus primarily on preserving clustering,...

The discovery of association rules from large databases has proven beneficial for companies since such can be very effective in revealing actionable knowledge that leads to strategic decisions. In tandem with this benefit, rule mining also pose a threat privacy protection. main problem is non-sensitive information or unclassified data, one able infer sensitive information, including personal facts, even patterns are not supposed disclosed. This scenario reveals pressing need techniques...

Precision agriculture for coffee production requires spatial knowledge of crop yield. However, difficulties in implementation lie low-sampled areas. In addition, the asynchronicity this adds complexity to modeling. It results a diversity phenological stages within field and also continuous over time. Big Data retrieved from remote sensing can be tested improve This research proposes apply Sentinel-2 vegetation index (NDVI) Sentinel-1 dual-polarization C-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)...

Homogeneous management zones (HMZs) delineation is important for the application of precision agriculture because farm decisions are based on it. Diverse soil chemical characteristics HMZs delineation. However, summarizing several variables into homogeneous zoning while taking account spatial distribution pattern a challenge. Addressing this challenge to produce oriented practical use farmers. In work, 17 were jointly analyzed HMZ by using indicator kriging (IK) interpolate fertility index...

The sharing of association rules has been proven beneficial in business collaboration, but requires privacy safeguards. One may decide to disclose only part the knowledge and conceal strategic patterns called sensitive rules. challenge here is how protect without losing benefit mining. To address this problem, we propose a unified framework that combines: set algorithms knowledge; retrieval facilities speed up process protecting; metrics evaluate effectiveness proposed terms information loss...

Heat waves usually result in losses of animal production since they are exposed to thermal stress inducing an increase mortality and consequent economical losses. Animal science meteorological databases from the last years contain enough data poultry business allow modeling due heat wave incidence. This research analyzes a database broiler associated climatic data, using mining techniques such as attribute selection classification (decision tree) model impact incidence on mortality. The...

Assessing pigs' welfare is one of the most challenging subjects in intensive pig farming. Animal vocalization analysis a noninvasive procedure and may be used as tool for assessing animal status. The objective this research was to identify stress conditions piglets reared farrowing pens through their vocalization. Vocal signals were collected from 40 animals under following situations: normal (baseline), feeling cold, pain, hunger. A unidirectional microphone positioned about 15 cm animals'...
