Potentially toxic elements (PTEs) are a group of chemical compounds that present in nature as part the earth's crust small quantities. Among these PTEs we find chromium (Cr); which is required for human metabolism. However, this element could affect health at relative high concentrations. Unfortunately, levels have increased significantly due to industrial activities increase; causes increases populations around zones.
