Abstract A new type of modified bismaleimide resin was obtained by copolymerization between tris(allylphenoxy)triazine monomer (TAPT) and an aromatic diamine‐chain‐extension [e.g., 4,4′‐diaminodiphenylmethane (DADPM)‐chain‐extension 4,4′‐bismaleimidodiphenylmethane (BMDPM)].
