Ionic liquids (ILs) are organic molten salts with low-temperature melting points that hold promise as next-generation environmentally friendly boundary lubricants. This work examines the relationship between tribological and rheological behavior of thin films five imidazolium ILs using a surface force apparatus to elucidate lubrication mechanisms. When confined few nanometers, properties change drastically function number ion layers; not only viscosity increases by several orders magnitude...
Ionic liquids (ILs) are a promising class of electrolytes owing to unique combination properties, such as extremely low vapour pressures, non-flammability and being universal solvents. Doping ILs with alkali metal salts creates an electrolyte that is interest for batteries, among others. These salt-in-ionic (SiILs) super-concentrated, strongly correlated asymmetric electrolytes. The transference number the cations has been found be negative, small but highly negatively charged aggregates...
The hypergolic ignition behaviors of four newly synthesized ionic liquids with dicyanamide anion (ionic 1 and 3) cyanoborohydride 2 4) were experimentally investigated. results showed that successful both group achieved white fuming nitric acid red acid. Two distinct flame initiation processes illustrated by several stages observed for each liquids. Specifically, the liquid drop immerging, exploding, ignition: immerged reacted oxidizers underneath surface, producing gas vapor foam like...
Ionic liquids (ILs) are an extremely exciting class of electrolytes for energy storage applications because their unique combination properties. Upon dissolving alkali metal salts, such as Li or Na based with the same anion IL, intrinsically asymmetric electrolyte can be created use in batteries, known a salt-in-ionic liquid (SiIL). These SiILs have been well studied bulk, where negative transference numbers cation observed from formation small, negatively charged clusters. The properties...
We have developed a theory for the electrical double layer of salt-in-ionic liquids accounting thermoreversible association ions into Cayley tree aggregates. find that solution becomes more aggregated at moderate positive voltages.

Doping ILs alkali metal salts creates an electrolyte that is interest for battery technology. These salt-in-ionic (SiILs) superconcentrated, strongly correlated, asymmetric electrolytes. Notably, the transference numbers cations have been found to be negative. Here, we investigate Na-based SiILs surface force apparatus, X-ray scattering,...
By means of ICP and XRF, the migration characteristics sodium ash fusion typical ZDC were studied in this article. The results indicate that most its ashes is water soluble form, organically-bound few water-bound released during 500∼600°C 700∼800°C. Both kaolin silica additive can reduce emission compounds effectively combustion. With increase mixed ratio additives, effect more obvious. And reduction SiO2 better than kaolin, though turn souluble to aluminosilicate easily which stable insoluble.
