Ubiquitin-specific protease 1 (USP1), a well-known member of the deubiquitinating enzymes, serves as key regulator in DNA damage repair (DDR) processes. Herein, we utilized ring-opening and cyclization strategies based on KSQ-4279 to design novel series USP1 inhibitors featuring morpholine scaffold. Notably, compound 38-P2 exhibited more potent enzymatic cellular inhibition activity compared KSQ-4279. Mechanistically, was characterized selective, reversible, noncompetitive inhibitor....

Introduction Prone ventilation is a standard treatment for acute respiratory distress syndrome, and its clinical benefits are well established. However, implementing prone positioning safely effectively challenging in patients who pregnant, have intra-abdominal hypertension, or other high-risk groups. Clinical Findings Diagnosis A patient the third trimester of pregnancy (28 weeks 6 days gestation) developed body temperature 39 °C severe distress. She was transferred to intensive care unit,...

Abstract The antecedents of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance have been extensively studied, yet the impact supplier behavior has overlooked. By analyzing data from China's manufacturing industry (2013–2020), we find that suppliers' financial violations enhance overall ESG client firms, with state ownership further reinforcing this relationship. examining dimensions, our study reveals an asynchronous pattern in firms' enhancements. Specifically, significantly boost...

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic inflammatory lung condition that causes airflow obstruction. The existing methods can only detect patients who already have COPD based on obvious features shown in the spirogram (In this article, specifically involves measuring Volume-Flow curve time series). Early prediction of risk vital for monitoring disease progression, slowing it down, or even preventing its onset. However, these fail to early predict an individual's probability...

We designed a multilayered self-adaptive absorber/emitter metamaterial, which can smartly switch between solar absorber and radiative cooler based on temperature change. The switching capability is facilitated by the phase change material structure optimized machine learning. Our design not only advances machine-learning-based development of metamaterials but also has potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions contribute goal achieving neutrality.

Drawing from the 2015-2021 panel data of China's A-share listed companies, this study employs multiple regression analysis to assess impact corporate digital transformation (CDT) on ESG performance. Findings suggest a significant positive correlation between degree CDT and outcomes. As intensifies, there's marked improvement in Further uncovers threshold effect relationship, implying most pronounced influence emerges after reaching certain level transformation. Robustness checks confirm...

Foundation models (FMs) have shown remarkable advancements in enhancing the performance of intelligent applications. To address need for data privacy FM fine-tuning, federated learning has emerged as de facto framework. Specifically, Federated FMs (FedFMs) fine-tuning using low-rank adaptation (LoRA) modules instead full model over multiple clients can achieve both parameter efficiency and privacy. However, recent studies rarely challenges posed by with heterogeneous resources, particularly...

ABSTRACT Quantitatively distinguishing between climate change and anthropogenic activities is crucial for flood management in the middle‐lower reaches of Yangtze River (MLRYR). However, quantitative contribution to occurrences region over long time scales (spanning more than one climatic state) across extensive spatial areas remains unclear. This study aims address such issue by analysing runoff data from 12 hydrological stations MLRYR 1961 2020. By combining Peak Over Threshold (POT) method...
