Abstract In this paper, Zr 2 SB ceramic with purity of 82.95 wt% (containing 8.96 ZrB and 8.09 zirconium) high relative density (99.03%) was successfully synthesized from ZrH , sublimated sulfur, boron powders by spark plasma sintering (SPS) at 1300 °C. The reaction process, microstructure, physical mechanical properties were systematically studied. results show that the optimum molar ratio to synthesize is n (ZrH ): (S): (B) = 1.4:1.6:0.7. average grain size 12.46 µm in length 5.12 width,...
Abstract The evaluation of residual stress originating from thermal expansion mismatch is very important to the reliability and durability coated components in engineering applications. However, way evaluate at high temperatures full challenges because limitations method equipment. In this work, image relative was carried out ZrO 2 coating deposited on one side GH3128 alloys with different thicknesses temperatures. Via method, could be calculated by using contour which based traditional...
Abstract The interface protection mechanism of Ti₃AlC₂ ceramics against calcium–magnesium–aluminum–silicate (CMAS) corrosion and change in physical properties were investigated. At 1200°C, CMAS components melted rapidly reacted with ceramic at the interface, penetrating interior. Concurrently, due to high‐temperature oxidation, a dense oxide layer was formed on surface, effectively blocking generating Ti m Ca x Si y O 2 + Al 2n 3n . Quantitative analysis using energy‐dispersive spectroscopy...
Tribological properties of Ti 3 SiC 2 and Al O ‐reinforced composites (10 20 vol% ) were investigated by using an AISI‐52100 bearing steel ball dryly sliding on a linear reciprocating athletic specimen. The friction coefficients found varying only in range 0.1 under the applied loads (2.5, 5, 10 N), wear rates decreased with increasing content. enhanced resistance is mainly attributed to hard particles nail surrounding soft matrix decentrale shear stresses reduce losses.
In order to broaden the selectivity of graphite nanosheet additives on epoxy resin-based coatings and verify size effect, this work aims dope nanosheets different sizes into three-dimensional structure produced by cross-linking curing resin polyamide resin. addition, a micro-nano level secondary surface with special roughness are constructed obtain composite hydrophobic coating. The influence effect performance corrosion resistance coating is summarized as well. Among them, optimized doping...
Edaravone is a novel free radical scavenger utilized to treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). However, long-term safety data remain limited. Adverse event reports related edaravone from the second quarter of 2017 2024 were extracted US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Event Reporting System database (FAERS). Disproportionality analysis was conducted utilizing reporting odds ratio (ROR), proportional (PRR), Bayesian confidence propagation neural network (BCPNN), multi-item gamma...
Abstract Due to the mismatch of coefficients thermal expansion between ZrO 2 and Al O 3 , residual stress would be induced -ZrO composites during cooling process. However, fabricated by different methods have various distribution states, which result in mechanical properties. In this work, prestressed coating reinforcement method particle enhancement been carried out fabricate -reinforced (the corresponding specimens marked as AcZs pre-stressed ceramics 3,P /ZrO composites), respectively....
A pre-stressing design and a simple fabrication technology to substantially improve the strength of ceramic components are presented. Residual surface compressive stress is generated in by pressureless sintering green bulk coated with thin layer low coefficient thermal expansion (CTE). The level can be controlled changing cross-section area ratio, Young's modulus ratio CTE coating. Pre-stressed ZrO2 ceramics Al2O3 achieve flexural 1330 ± 52 MPa, 45% higher than their uncoated counterpart....
The high-entropy design of MAX phases is expected to confer superior properties, but its study was hindered by the complex synthesis method and limited purity samples. In this work, two noteworthy types phase structural ceramics, (TiVNbTaM)2AlC (M = Zr, Hf), were designed prepared <em>in-situ</em> using spark plasma sintering (SPS). microstructure lattice parameters sintered samples determined. Compared with single-component phases, highly pure (TiVNbTaZr)2AlC sample...
