Abstract Arginine vasopressin‐ (AVP) and oxytocin‐ (OXT) secreting magnocellular neurons undergo gross structural changes with chronic physiological stimulation. Here, we investigated subcellular aspects of plasticity in rat neurohypophysial terminals during dehydration. Ultrastructural analyses demonstrated that dehydration by 2% NaCl drinking for 7 days significantly decreased the numbers neurosecretory granules microvesicles but not mitochondria. Moreover, dehydrated rats, making...
A total of 124 normal school children in three classes (aged 8 to 9) were examined for beta-hemolytic streptococci 29 months from August 1977 December 1979 be means serial monthly throat cultures. No significant difference between the carrier rate boys and that girls was observed. Although no variation rates appeared class II, marked temporal increases June 1978 (in Class I) III) 1979. These periodical variations observed this investigation do not coincide with low-in summer high-in winter...
Using a mouse experimental UTI (urinary tract infection) model, study was conducted to find the pathogenicity of various serovars E. faecalis. On basis studies employing serovar-specific factor sera prepared with faecalis type strains, serovar 2, 3, 4 and 10 strains showed high incidence involvement in pyelonephritis: 90.3%, 85.7%, 85% 73.3%. Serovar 1, 6 7 each 63.6% pyelonephritis, indicating that they have moderate pathogenicity. The other not very strong, low 40-59.1%.These results were...
Serotyping was conducted of E. faecalis strains isolated from various clinical specimens, and the distribution serovars investigated. To date, 21 have been identified. The most common in Japanese 770 were types 2 (30.6%), 7 (13.9%), 1 (12.2%) 4 (6.9%), these four accounted for 63.6% total strains. The USA 200 (22.5%), (14.5%) (14.0%). UK 65 (24.6%), (13.8%) 9 (7.7%).The differ as a function country origin.Next, serological classification performed specimens. For obtained urine, (32.7%)...
Membrane dynamics in the presynaptic region of neuron is a key process neuronal signal transduction. Dynamin plays central part during endocytosis participating deformation membrane structure and constriction. During study molecular interaction proteins, we found that dynamin fraction prepared from brain extract contains several lipid components. Fractionation lipids with thin layer chromatography mass-analysis showed presence phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, cerebroside,...
