Abstract Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze cv. CFT‐1 is an elite tea variety bred by sexual hybridization with a high content of epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate (EGCG) as 134.2 mg/g (which 2.54‐fold that the common variety). This study was to evaluate chemopreventive effects green infusion (CFT‐1) against N ‐nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA)‐induced hepatocarcinogenesis in rats and its mechanisms. The results showed had superior inhibitory effect NDEA‐initiated compared tea. significantly reduced hepatic...

The Cellulose synthase (CesA) and synthase-like (Csl) gene superfamilies encode key enzymes involved in the synthesis of cellulose hemicellulose, which are major components plant cell walls, play important roles regulation fruit ripening. However, genome-wide identification functional analysis CesA Csl families strawberry remain limited. In this study, eight genes 25 were identified genome diploid woodland (Fragaria vesca). protein structures, evolutionary relationships, cis-acting elements...

This study aims to evaluate the preventive effects of anthocyanins extracts (MAEs) from mulberry variety PR-01 against N-nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA)-induced hepatocarcinogenesis in rats. It was found that 150 mg·kg-1 MAEs treatment significantly reduced NDEA-induced hepatic nodules incidence and hepatocellular carcinoma by 58.30% 41.70% compared model group. Meanwhile, restored elevated liver function enzymes, inhibited tumor necrosis factor alpha interleukin-6 levels, serum interleukin-10...

Abstract The World Cancer Research Fund International has released 32 anticancer effects ( ACE s) that targeted every stage of cancer processes. Thus, we designed two formulas natural food combination Diet I and II , mainly produced by elite crop varieties rich in s with different mixture ratios, evaluated their preventive on N‐ nitrosodiethylamine NDEA )‐induced hepatocarcinogenesis. After 20 weeks dietary intervention, reduced incidence, size, number hepatic nodules p < 0.01) prevented...

ROP small GTPases function as signaling hubs that mediate various physiological processes, including plant defense. Their specific roles in strawberry resistance against gray mold remain uncharacterized. In this study, we identified 53 genes across the genomes of six Rosaceae species. Based on sequence homology, they were classified into three distinct phylogenetic clades. Detailed analysis FveROP proteins revealed presence highly conserved catalytic-G-domains, which are essential for their...

Introduction: Delirium aggravates the morbidity and mortality of sepsis patients. Melatonin, endogenous circadian rhythm regulating hormone, can decrease delirium. Also, melatonin possesses anti-oxidation anti-inflammation capacity. Of note, effects be activated by receptor agonists (such as tasimelteon ramelteon). Thus, we hypothesized that using may improve outcomes patients in intensive care unit (ICU). To elucidate further on this issue, conducted retrospective study analyzing data...

Introduction: Aortic dissection is a life-threatening emergency condition that requires immediate interventions and therapies. The in-hospital mortality rate varies from 10% to 20%, depending on the type, location, severity of dissection. Clinical data further highlight association between oxidation, inflammation, in aortic patients. Statin possesses potent anti-oxidation anti-inflammation capacity. We conjectured use statin intensive care unit (ICU) may improve outcomes To explicate this...
