Abstract Wilson disease (WD) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in the ATP7B gene. Clinical features and mutational analysis of Chinese children with WD at early age were rarely described. Herein, we retrospectively examined 114 mean 5.9 years old diagnosis. Eight patients developed acute liver failure 9.7 old, 4 whom died. Among patients, 86.0% presymptomatic isolated elevation transaminases diagnosis, 99.1% had decreased ceruloplasmin, 68.4% urinary copper excretion...
In this study, the crystallization behavior of oriented isotactic polypropylene during solid-state stretching was investigated by in-situ wide-angle X-ray scattering. Results showed that a new arc appeared on (040) reflection with previous arcs remained when direction inclined to initial orientation direction, as result induced crystallization. The process occurred later than yielding but earlier strain hardening. crystallinity newly formed crystal linear dependence Hencky strain, and slope...
Abstract As one of the high‐performance polymer fibers, poly(m‐phenylene isophthalamide) (PMIA) is widely used in area military and aerospace applications. Whereas, its insulation hydrophilic nature may lead to electric charge accumulation dust adherence. This work aims fabricate a PMIA fabric with integrated conductive superhydrophobic abilities via simple method including γ‐ray irradiation dip‐coating. Results show that after irradiation, surface roughness was enhanced content oxygen...
Abstract Background Pathogenic mutations in the PHKG2 are associated with a very rare disease—glycogen storage disease IXc (GSD-IXc)—and characterized by severe liver disease. Case presentation Here, we report patient jaundice, hypoglycaemia, growth retardation, progressive increase transaminase and prominent hepatomegaly from neonatal period. Genetic testing revealed two novel, previously unreported (F233S R320DfsX5). Functional experiments indicated that both F223S R320DfsX5 lead to...
In this work, the void formation of poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) (P4MP1) during solid-state stretching was investigated by in-situ small-angle and wide-angle X-ray scattering. By controlling heating temperature, P4MP1 specimens with different orientation degrees were obtained. The results showed that: (1) high presented hard elastic deformation behavior. Before voids induced, a density decrease in amorphous phase detected due to extension chain network. Once formed, their longitude direction...
