Abstract Motivation: Capillary electrophoresis (CE) of nucleic acids is a workhorse technology underlying high-throughput genome analysis and large-scale chemical mapping for acid structural inference. Despite the wide availability CE-based instruments, there remain challenges in leveraging their full power quantitative RNA DNA structure, thermodynamics kinetics. In particular, slow rate poor automation available tools have bottlenecked new generation studies involving hundreds CE profiles...

Abstract The method of generalized estimating equations (GEE) models the association between repeated observations on a subject with patterned correlation matrix. Correct specification underlying structure is potentially beneficial goal, in terms improving efficiency and enhancing scientific understanding. We consider two sets criteria that have previously been suggested, respectively, for selecting an appropriate working structure, ruling out particular structure(s), GEE analysis...

A direct liquid organic hydrogen carrier fuel cell, such as the isopropanol cell (DIFC), employs to generate electricity through a combined process of dehydrogenation and utilization. However, performance decay DIFC over time is critical limitation. While origin deactivation strategy overcome it have been investigated, lack understanding mechanism remains significant bottleneck. In this study, cyclic voltammograms conducted in half-cell (three-electrode system) exhibit notable variation...

This paper presents consistent and rigorous accuracy assessments of various methods for calculating the diffusion coefficients in a two-step reactor core analysis light water reactors (LWRs). The are significantly affected by transport correction critical spectrum calculations. There corrections (inflow/outflow/hybrid corrections) calculations (B1/P1/CASMO-4E methods) so that it is necessary to decide best combination achieve high transport/diffusion analysis. Numerical tests performed...
