Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is characterized by fibrofatty replacement of muscle. This has been documented in the ventricular myocardium DMD patients, but there limited description atrial involvement. The purpose this study to examine arrhythmia and ectopy burden patients with non-DMD dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) characterize cardiac histopathologic changes across disease spectrum.

Clinical manifestations of subcutaneous filariasis in a yellow-collared macaw (Ara auricollis) included lameness induced by nodule formation, which was attributed to the presence filarial parasite Pelecitus sp.
