Coarctation of the aorta (CoA) is a congenital disease with an incidence 4 out 10,000 live births, therefore proper education its treatment essential. Understanding and wide array options often difficult. Additive manufacturing technology can be used to produce 3D printed hands-on surgical training tools (HOSTT), which for practical CoA. This study aimed investigate effectiveness printable HOSTT simulation coarctation surgery, it' possible role in education.
A rendszeres, intenzív fizikai aktivitás hatásait a sportkardiológia számos kutatása tanulmányozta: mind kardiovaszkuláris prevencióban betöltött szerepét, az élsportolók esetén testedzés kiváltotta miokardiális hipertrófiát, sportszívet részletesen jellemzi irodalom. Ebben rövid áttekintésben összefoglaljuk hosszú távú, rendszeres edzés által kiváltott kardiális adaptáció kialakulásának, és sportolás felfüggesztése utáni visszafejlődésének ütemét, szakirodalomban leginkább leírt három fő...

Abstract Background Regular physical activity results in characteristic structural and functional changes the heart, which are collectively referred to as athlete's heart. However, extent of exercise-induced left ventricular (LV) hypertrophy show significant differences between men women, molecular background is not fully elucidated. Objective The aim this study was provide a proteomic characterization long-term, intense LV myocardial rat model, with focus on sex-related differences. Methods...
Abstract Introduction Regular sport activity leads to the adaptation of cardiac structure and function, so-called athlete's heart. Research projects over last years have focused on exercise-induced right ventricle (RV), because disproportionate load RV - when compared with left might lead pathological consequences, such as myocardial interstital fibrosis or chamber dilation. Purpose We aimed at investigating comprehensively alterations induced by regular aerobic exercise training in a rat...
