ABSTRACT 2205 dual‐phase stainless steel is widely used in petrochemical equipment. This paper simulates welding, post‐weld heat treatment, and operation conditions of steel. This Letter is concerned with the influence of polarization on damage performance type I doubler potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystals grown by conventional growth method under 532 nm pulse irradiation. Pinpoint density (ppd) and size distribution pinpoints are extracted through light scattering pictures captured microscope. The results show that ppd parallels extraordinary axis around 1.5× less than ordinary same fluence, although has no pinpoints. We also find independent number grows fluence.
