Accumulation of 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE), a marker lipid peroxidation, has various favorable and unfavorable effects on cancer cells; however, the clinicopathological significance its accumulation in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) metabolic pathway remain unknown. This study analyzed 4-HNE HCC. Of 221 cases, 160 showed relatively low HCC tissues, which was an independent prognostic predictor. No correlation found between expression antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase 4, ferroptosis...
Pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) and mixed neuroendocrine-non-neuroendocrine neoplasm (MiNEN) are rare pancreatic malignant tumors, comprehensive gene analyses scarce. In this study, six NECs MiNENs were collected, immunohistochemistry for synaptophysin, chromogranin A, INSM1, Ki-67, Rb was conducted, KRAS mutational status examined. Among these cases, expression analysis of oncogene pathways using nCounter® performed with four MiNENs, those data compared that three ductal...
