Abstract Source parameters for the September 7, 1988 northeastern Kentucky earthquake have been estimated from analysis of surface-wave amplitude spectra. The source that best fits observed data had a seismic moment 2.0 × 1022 dyne-cm, mechanism with strike = 198° ± 10°, dip 51° 11°, and slip −178° 17°, (T) trend 160°, plunge 25°, (P) 55°, 28°, depth 4 to 7 km. Thirty-two aftershocks were recorded during 2 weeks monitoring following mainshock; 23 locatable fall on roughly NW-SE linear trend....

Objective: Kinase suppressor of ras 3 (CNKSR3) was a direct mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) target gene that is up-regulated in response to physiological concentrations aldosterone. Aldosterone the principal hormonal regulator sodium homeostasis. Thus, regulation CNKSR3 correlated essential hypertension. The aim present study assess association between human polymorphism and hypertension Han population China.Design method: We use 422 control subjects 1868 confirmed subjects. All patients...

Objective: Hypertension is common worldwide. Patterns of hypertension may vary in remote less developed areas. Xinjiang Northwest China a multi-ethnic province with low income, education and medical resource-constriction background, where affecting up to 54.6% adults 30 years older, characterized by lower treatment control rates higher prevalence mortality stroke. Therefore, we selected Emin county, typical above condition, implement government-expert joint comprehensive intervention for...

Objective: Prevalence of hypertension in Xinjiang, Northwest China is approximately 30–54.6% population aged 30 years and older, ranks at the national forefront due to its geographical remoteness, unhealthy eating habits, physical inactivity, whereas treatment control rates are too low for several reasons, which encompass a relatively backward economy (GDP ranking 25th among 31 provinces by 2014), extremely premature medical conditions (), lower educational level (illiteracy rate: about 19%,...
