Gut microbiota has demonstrated an increasingly important role in the onset and development of colorectal cancer (CRC). Nonetheless, association between gut KRAS mutation CRC remains enigmatic. We conducted 16S rRNA sequencing on stool samples from 94 patients employed linear discriminant analysis effect size algorithm to identify distinct mutant wild-type patients. Transcriptome data nine were transformed into a matrix immune infiltrating cells, which was then utilized explore...
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most prevalent neurodegenerative disorder for which no effective therapy currently available. Given that various attempts to target beta-amyloid (Aβ) have been unsuccessful in clinical trials, other potential pathogenic factors such as brain energy metabolism (EM) attracted increasing attention. Traditional Chinese medicines, including danggui-shaoyao-san (DSS), play a notable role AD. However, it remains unclear whether DSS exerts therapeutic effects on AD...
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the most common gastrointestinal malignancy worldwide, with obesity-induced lipid metabolism disorders playing a crucial role in its progression. A complex connection exists between gut microbiota and development of intestinal tumors through metabolite pathway. Metabolic frequently alter microbiome, impairing immune cellular functions hastening
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether gender is a factor in the interplay between human intestinal flora and colorectal cancer (CRC), ultimately providing new evidence for clinical prediction management of CRC different genders. In this study, we included 186 untreated patients, classified them into two groups based on pathological staging: Groups Ⅰ–Ⅱ Ⅲ–Ⅳ, with male female within each group. We collected preoperative fecal samples from these patients performed 16S rRNA gene...
