Blockchains have received much attention recently since they provide decentralized approaches to the creation and management of value. Many banks, Internet companies, car manufacturers, even governments worldwide incorporated or started considering blockchains improve security, scalability, efficiency their services. In this paper, we survey blockchain applications in different areas. These areas include cryptocurrency, healthcare, advertising, insurance, copyright protection, energy,...

Malignant gliomas are one of the most common and lethal brain tumors with poor prognosis. Most patients glioblastoma (GBM) die within 2 years diagnosis, even after receiving standard treatments including surgery combined concomitant radiotherapy chemotherapy. Temozolomide (TMZ) is first-line chemotherapeutic agent for gliomas, but frequent acquisition chemoresistance generally leads to its treatment failure. Thus, it’s urgent investigate strategies overcoming glioma chemoresistance....

BACKGROUND: Increasing evidence shows that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a key role in the development of various cancers. Zinc finger antisense 1 (ZFAS1) is novel lncRNA with previously demonstrated associations several types cancer. Here we examined expression and potential fu nction ZFAS1 nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). METHODS: We detected GSE12452, human microarray dataset, NPC cell lines. Small interfering RNA against was used to elucidate cellular functions using MTT, colony...

Cooperative multi-agent policy gradient (MAPG) algorithms have recently attracted wide attention and are regarded as a general scheme for the system. Credit assignment plays an important role in MAPG can induce cooperation among multiple agents. However, most cannot achieve good credit because of game-theoretic pathology known centralized-decentralized mismatch. To address this issue, paper presents novel method, Multi-Agent Polarization Policy Gradient (MAPPG). MAPPG takes simple but...

Despite the impressive capabilities of Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) agents in many challenging scenarios, their black-box decision-making process significantly limits deployment safety-sensitive domains. Several previous self-interpretable works focus on revealing critical states agent's decision. However, they cannot pinpoint error-prone states. To address this issue, we propose a novel structure, named Backbone Extract Tree (BET), to better explain behavior by identify At high level,...

<p>Effective management of multi-intersection traffic signal control (MTSC) is vital for intelligent transportation systems. Multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) has shown promise in achieving MTSC. However, existing MARL-based MTSC algorithms have primarily focused on capturing the spatial relationship between signals but overlooking importance temporally stable pattern. This pattern refers to fixed positions and relatively flow intersections over short periods real-world...

Potential hazards may lead to catastrophic accidents in safety-critical systems. Therefore, the ability analyze causal logic relationships between risks and is tremendously beneficial. Due uncertainties lack of data that characterize non-deterministic relationships, Bayesian network can be applied as an appropriate tool for determining a conditional probability distribution. A new allocation method based on fuzzy networks proposed this paper. More specifically, we propose used quantitative...

Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) has achieved remarkable success in sequential decision-making problems. However, existing DRL agents make decisions an opaque fashion, hindering the user from establishing trust and scrutinizing weaknesses of agents. While recent research developed Interpretable Policy Extraction (IPE) methods for explaining how agent takes actions, their explanations are often inconsistent with agent's behavior thus, frequently fail to explain. To tackle this issue, we...
