Abstract An electron-beam accelerator based on spiral water pulse forming line which consists of a primary storage capacitor system, an air core strip transformer, dielectric, and field-emission diode, is described. The experimental results showed that the diode voltage more than 500 kV, electron beam current about 24 kA, duration 200 ns. main parameters were calculated theoretically. distributions for electrical field in obtained by simulations. In addition, process charging was simulated...
DIffuse X-ray Explorer (DIXE) is a proposed high-resolution spectroscopic sky surveyor on the China Space Station (CSS). DIXE will focus studying hot baryons in Milky Way. Galactic like emitting Way halo and eROSITA bubbles are best observed survey mode with large field of view. take advantage orbital motion CSS to scan fraction sky. High-resolution spectroscopy, enabled by superconducting microcalorimeters based transition-edge sensor (TES) technology, probe physical properties (e.g.,...
ABSTRACT A superbubble is a hot, dilute, and X-ray-emitting gas cavity produced by stellar winds supernova explosions. It an intriguing feature for the study of feedback processes. We report possible superbubbles in Andromeda Galaxy (M31). identify one out 83 extended sources as strong candidate, SB1, from M31 X-ray source catalogue. SB1 located northern disc exhibits soft, emission surrounded Hα shell. The XMM–Newton spectral analysis reveals that has temperature ∼0.14 keV luminosity...
<title>Abstract</title> Diffuse X-ray Explorer (DIXE) is a proposed spectroscopic survey experiment for the China Space Station. Its detector assembly (DA) contains transition edge sensor (TES) microcalorimeter and readout electronics based on superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) cold stage. The stage thermally connected to 50 mK ADR stage, Kevlar suspension used stabilize isolate it from 4 K environment. TES SQUID are both sensitive magnetic field, so hybrid shielding...
