Introduction Autologous breast reconstruction using free tissue transfer is widely regarded as the gold standard for oncologic due to its reliability and high patient satisfaction. However, it associated with challenges such prolonged operative time, extended recovery, potential complications. This study aims comprehensively evaluate early late complications, their impact on length of stay, readmissions in a retrospective from single institution. Methods A review maintained flap database was...
Background: Small bowel neuroendocrine tumors (SB-NETs) are rare malignancies often diagnosed at an advanced stage due to their nonspecific symptoms. The role of loco-regional surgery in IV SB-NETs remains debated, particularly lower-middle-income countries, where healthcare resources and treatment accessibility differ from high-income settings. Methods: This retrospective study analyzed survival outcomes SB-NET patients who underwent resection Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital &...
Nickel oxide (NiO) nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully synthesized by utilizing the waste shell powder of Prunus dulcis (almond) through a simple, environmentally sound, cheap, and novel green approach. The almond was used as stabilizing reducing agent for synthesis NiO from NiNO 3 .6H 2 O solution at 60 ºC pH 12. FTIR studies verified NPs appearance characteristic vibrational peak 611.97cm -1 whereas an absorption 267 nm appeared in UV-Visible spectrum. However, XRD SEM analyses have shown...
Heavy metals e.g., Hg, Cd, Cr, Pb, Zn, As and Ni etc are a major sources of pollutants which enter into the food chains cause serious health impairments, carcinogenicity mutagenesis. They have adverse effects on blood composition, lungs, energy level, kidneys, central nervous system, liver, other vital organs body.Heavy can be successfully removed by easily available, eco-friendly low-cost adsorbents include wastes/products natural (chitin, silicate porous material, clay zeolites,...
Nanoparticles obtained from physical and chemical methods are uniformly sized having long term stabilities. However, their syntheses usually involve expensive chemicals which toxic, carcinogenic require high temperature pressure. These issues can be addressed by facile eco-friendly green synthesis. This study focuses on to synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) using Cymbogobon Citratus aqueous extract with acetate. The prepared particles were calcined at 450 o C. The synthesized NPs...
Molecular cocatalysts are promising materials to improve the performance of photocatalytic systems.
Abstract Zwitterionic surfactants based on 3‐(1‐alkyl‐3‐imidazolio) propane‐sulfonate ([ImS3‐R] where R is octyl or dodecyl) an emerging and important class of amphiphile due to their relevance as nano reactors for the synthesis metallic nanoparticles accelerated acid hydrolysis. The physicochemical properties such synthesized imidazolium ring‐containing zwitterionic have been characterized by surface tension small‐angle neutron scattering (SANS) techniques. Surface measurements were used...
Abstract Chromium is well-thought-out heavy metal which one of the enormously lethal due to its cancer-causing nature. In this study, iron oxide used as adsorbent for chromate removal from aqueous solution a function pH, time, temperature, concentration adsorbate and media dosage. The influence pH on Cr (VI) sorption by reveals that adsorption significantly increased decreased 8 2. rate detected be higher in beginning then it remains constant after 120 min equilibrium time. found greater at...
For lithium-ion batteries, excellent anode materials are recognized as ternary zinc-based oxides. Due to metal oxides' poor cycling stability, rapid capacity deterioration, and rate performance, their use battery anodes reduces applicability. However, by reducing the material's particle size loading it on activated non-activated carbon, electrochemical performance gets improved. ZnFe2O4 is prepared hydrothermally analyzed an X-ray diffractometer determine pure phase. SEM data shows that...
In the current study, magnetic oxide nanoparticle-impregnated tea waste (TW-Fe3O4) is employed as an adsorbent to remove phosphate ions (PO43−) from aqueous solution. By utilizing a variety of analytical methods, TW-Fe3O4 nano-adsorbent was characterized by FE-SEM, TEM, EDX, BET, FTIR and XRD. The FE-SEM demonstrated adsorbent’s granular morphology with nanoparticle sizes shapes. XRD showed two diffraction peaks at 2θ values 30.9° 35.4°, which are in correspondence pattern magnetite....
Abstract The current study focuses on the synthesis and sorption properties of two mixed oxides iron silicon prepared by physical mixing (M 1 ) sequential precipitation methods 2 ). Both were synthesized from equimolar ratios Fe(OH) 3 SiO characterized for surface area, EDX, XRD PZC. micropore volume average pore width oxide M higher as compared to . However, potentiometric titrations revealed that this method had a very high capacity towards Cd 2+ ions Sorption at pH 5 oxide, was found...
