Changes in osmoregulation during normal menstrual cycle were examined 15 healthy women. In 10 women, studied repetitively two consecutive cycles, basal plasma osmolality, sodium, and urea decreased by 4 mosmol/kg, 2 meq/l, 0.5 mM, respectively (all P less than 0.02) from the follicular to luteal phase. Plasma vasopressin, protein, hematocrit, mean arterial pressure, body weight did not change. five other diluting capacity osmotic control of thirst vasopressin release assessed follicular,...

Angiosarcoma is a rare and aggressive malignant tumor primarily originating from blood lymphatic vessels. While it commonly arises cutaneous sites like the scalp, atypical presentations, such as nasal involvement, pose significant diagnostic challenges. This report presents case of 74-year-old male with rapidly progressive violaceous mass on sidewall, diagnosed angiosarcoma. The patient had no history trauma, radiation, or lymphedema. Biopsy findings, along immunohistochemical markers CD31,...

In cases of severe cardiac stenosis, the selection treatment options including angioplasty, stent insertion, and bypass surgery are based on diagnosis provided by electrocardiograms, stress tests, angiograms. Although these diagnostic tools all vital, it is still difficult to determine true extent which normal blood flow has been compromised. To date, a clear guideline for aggressive intervention does not exist, as stenosis characteristics can vary greatly between patients. Plaque...

Introduction: Cardiac fibrosis, or excess deposition of extracellular matrix (ECM) within heart muscle, acts as a protective mechanism following cardiac injury, but causes long-term stiffening and impaired contraction. In vitro models aid in understanding disease mechanisms, current fibrosis lack (i) native-like ECM (ii) interactions between multiple cell types. Objective: Our 3D model containing induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (iPSC-CM) fibroblasts (CF) with exogenous...
