Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying insect resistance to Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) pesticidal proteins is crucial for sustainable pest management. Here, we found that downregulation of Plutella xylostella ecdysone oxidase gene (PxEO) in normal feeding stages contributes increased 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) titer and mediates Bt Cry1Ac toxin. The PxEO was cloned its expression significantly downregulated midgut Bt-resistant Cry1Ac-selected P. xylostella. Silencing reduced...

In this study, the initial oxidation behaviour of laser‐treated Al/NiCrAlY bond‐coat is investigated. Two approaches, (i) Al film sputtering on surface and (ii) laser treatment, have been taken to enhance resistance NiCrAlY bond‐coat. Experimental results showed that after exhibited a columnar dendritic microstructure without cracks voids. A dense continuous α‐Al 2 O 3 /Cr multilayer was found form surface. Results cyclic at 1200 °C (for time ≤ 204 h) revealed better compared as‐sprayed...

The propagation of two collinear initially sinusoidal ultrasonic waves different frequencies is shown to generate a new wave having frequency equal the difference drive frequencies. generated results from n onlinearity medium and has an amplitude proportional acoustic nonlinearity parameter 6. Values 6 for fused quartz three aluminum alloys have been measured using this beammixing phenomenon compared values o btained harmonic generation technique. 8 value beamlnixing agrees within 1.2% that...

Abstract This study investigates the phase stability and thermophysical properties of Y2O3 Yb2O3 co-doped SrHfO3 (SHYY) powder bulk material along with microstructure evolution as-sprayed SHYY coatings during annealing. The was synthesized by a solid-state reaction at 1450 °C, showing good up to 1400 °C. Dilatometry measurements revealed no abnormal changes in coefficient thermal expansion over temperature range 200-1300 conductivity found be 16% lower than that SrHfO3. Free-standing...
