Two feeding experiments were carried out to evaluate the utilization of fermented soybean meal (FSBM) in diets for Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). The digestibility experiment was assessed with four diets: a reference diet and three ingredient test containing FSBM, local Chilean fishmeal. growth conducted including isonitrogenous isocaloric formulated contain graded levels dietary fishmeal (0 g/kg, 150 300 g/kg 450 g/kg) substituted by FSBM. results indicated that ADCs crude...
This study used an electrochemical method to synthesize three types of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using ethanol, water, and ethyl acetate extracts the Amanita pantherina mushroom. The properties these AgNPs were investigated cyclic voltammetry experiments impedance spectroscopy (EIS) models. antibacterial effectiveness was evaluated through minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) bactericidal (MBC) methods. results demonstrated that oxidation current intensity for AgNP‐A. ethanol extract...
Machilus thunbergii has a history of traditional applications including treating dyspepsia, apoplexy, headaches, abdominal pain, distension, and leg edema [1]. It is also employed for alleviating allergies, inflammation, pain relief, promoting blood circulation, addressing costal chondritis, sinusitis [2]. Research into the chemical composition M. revealed presence lignans, flavonoids, lactones, essential oils [1,[3], [4], [5]. While some investigations have explored inhibitory effects...
In our study, sixteen known phenolic compounds, including quercetin (1), methyl gallate (2), caesalpiniaphenol C (3), 8S,8′S,7′R-(‒)-lyoniresinol (4), 7,3′,5′-trihydroxyflavanone (5), sappanchalcone (6), sappanone A (7), taxifolin (8), fisetin (9), fustin (10), (+)-catechin (11), brazilin (12), 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl β-ᴅ-glucopyranoside (13), 1-(2-methylbutyryl)phloroglucinol-glucopyranoside (14), (+)-epi-catechin (15), and astragalin (16) one mixture of two conformers protosappanin B...
Seven metabolites (1–7) were isolated from the Vietnamese Scutellaria indica, guided by anti-inflammatory activity. The identified compounds comprise scrocaffeside A (1), naringenin-7-O-glucoside (2), darendoside B (3), decaffeoylverbascoside (4), plantainoside C (5), acteoside (6), and isoacteoside (7). This is first time 1–3 5 entire indica. Compounds 1–7 tested for their potential inhibiting nitric oxide (NO) production. Compound 1 showed most activity (IC 50 = 31.4 μM), followed 2, 4, 6,...
This study focuses on the anti-inflammatory activity-guided fractionation of root Vietnamese Polygonum multiflorum, resulting in isolation ten compounds (1–10). These were identified as trans-resveratrol (1), methyl protocatechuate (2), gallate (3), catechin (4), epicatechin (5), 4,6-dihydroxy-2-O-(β- D-glucopyranosyl)acetophenone (6), quercetin (7), apigenin (8), luteolin (9), and tricin (10). Compounds 2, 3, 6 isolated from P. multiflorum for first time. All tested against...
Objective: The Knema genus contains various naturally occurring secondary metabolites with pharmacological potential, including antitumor, neuroprotective, antidiabetic, and hepatoprotective activities. This study focuses on identifying nitric oxide production inhibitors from Vietnamese globularia. Methods: were isolated using several chromatographic techniques. Their chemical structures determined nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy compared published literature. anti-inflammatory...
A study on the phytochemical composition of roots Polygonum multiflorum collecting in Vietnam and an evaluation its capacity to inhibit pancreatic lipase enzyme was conducted. In total, 12 metabolites (1–12) were isolated from anti-lipase activity-guided fractionation P. multiflorum. The compounds identified as trans-resveratrol (1), methyl protocatechuate (2), gallate (3), catechin (4), epicatechin (5), myrciaphenone (6), quercetin (7), kaempferol (8), apigenin (9), luteolin (10), tricin...
This study investigates the impact of fish stocking density on water quality, red tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) growth, and mustard green (Brassica integrifolia) growth in microalgae-aquaponics systems. Three densities were tested: D1 (90 fish/m³), D2 (70 D3 (50 fish/m³). Water quality monitoring showed that TAN, NO₂⁻, NO₃⁻ levels increased with density, while phosphate remained relatively stable. had highest total weight gain but a lower rate (91.9 %) compared to (105.6 (134.1 %). average per...
The objective of the present study was to evaluate effect antibiotics on chilled storage sperm motility grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella). extenders were used in this HBSS (Hanks’ balanced salt solution), Modified HBSS, CCSE-2 (common extender), Kurokuda-1 and Kurokuda-2. dilution ratios 1:1, 1:3 1:5 (sperm: extender). Two Cephalexin Amoxcelin at concentration 50, 100 or 150 ppm. experiments conducted a refrigerator temperature 4ºC. results showed that highest activated day 9 when...
