Alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity has been commonly used for the evaluation of antidiabetic property in vitro. The aim this study is to investigate and characterize Dalbergia tonkinensis as a potential source compounds. screening active parts used, such trunk bark, heartwood, leaves indicated that all these extracted with methanol demonstrated potent α-glucosidase activity. vitro was notably recorded first time showed (EC50 = 0.17⁻0.78 mg/mL) comparable those reported herbal extracts...

A new gymnomitrane-type sesquiterpenoid, gymnomitrane-3α,5α,9β,15-tetrol(1), was isolated from the fruiting body of Ganoderma lucidum. Its structure elucidated using spectroscopic methods. This compound significantly inhibited growth epidermal factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitor EGFR-TKI-resistant human lung cancer A549 and prostate PC3 cell lines.

Plectranthus amboinicus (Lamiaceae) is a medicinal plant widely cultivated and naturalized in the tropics of Old New World, with history use folk medicine. However, there has been no prior investigation into chemical composition biological properties this species Dak Lak Province, Vietnam. In study, essential oil extracted from P. amboinicus, collected Buon Ma Thuot City Provincfe was analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). A total 89 compounds were identified,...

From the methanol extract of heartwood Dalbergia tonkinensis Prain collected in Buon Ma Thuot city, DakLak province, five flavonoids, liquiritigenin (1), 7,3',5'-trihydroxyflavanone (2), sativanone (3), 3'-O-methylviolanone (4) and sulfuretin (5) were isolated. The chemical structures isolated compounds determined by interpretation NMR spectral data as well comparison with from literature. This study marks that (2) was genus for first time.

The ecological factors play a very important role on the growth and development of mushrooms. Therefore, understanding correlational relationship between to occurance mushroom species is essential. fact that we carried out studying 4 major such as temperature (to), humidity (m), height (h) light intensity (l) affect ocurrance (density) Ganodermataceae species. It showed these have great impact presence distribution represented by following equation: F(x) = -2.648 + 0.040*sqrtl 0.165986*m...
