Abstract Behçet’s disease is a chronic multi‐system inflammatory disorder and the severity clinical manifestations of patients may show geographic variation. We aimed to detect cardiac findings in 30 compare them with normal population ( n = 29). used color‐doppler echocardiography transesophageal combination. calculated manually QT intervals dispersion (QTd) from twelve‐lead ECG recordings. There was no E/A inversion coronary ischemia all or control group. The E velocity difference between...

Reperfusion arrhythmias are associated with epicardial reperfusion but may also be a sign of vascular injury which can seen as no-reflow phenomenon on coronary angiography and predicts in-hospital complications recovery left ventricular (LV) function. No-reflow (thrombolysis in myocardial infarction [TIMI] ≤2 flow) is frequently observed patients after mechanical or medical procedures for acute (AMI). The authors hypothesized that (or peri-infarct arrhythmias) related to continuing ischemia....

This study consists of a retrospective evaluation microbiologic, echocardiographic, and clinical characteristics patients with infective endocarditis seen at Türkiye Yüksek Ihtisas SSK Hospitals during the previous 5 years to provide basis for comparison other series. The was performed retrospectively. mean age patient population, which consisted 74 cases, considerably low (24.6 ± 12.3 yr). majority were male (male/female = 1.96). Rheumatic valvular disease underlying cardiac pathosis in 66%...

The hypothesis that von Willebrand factor (vWf) release after multiple coronary stenting may be higher than single was tested. Preliminary data suggest is a predictor of thrombosis, and vWf levels in the sinus reflect endothelial injury. Therefore as an indicator thrombogenesis injury studied. were obtained at prestenting poststenting period 50 patients with ischemic heart disease who underwent elective (25 stent group 25 group). Eight subjects diagnostic angiography used controls. increased...

Chylous ascites is a clinical entity characterized by accumulation of milky fluid containing high amounts triglycerides in the peritoneal cavity. The cause usually lymphatic obstruction secondary to neoplastic processes. Constrictive pericarditis rarely causes cylous through elevated venous pressure and stasis. To best our knowledge, there no report constrictive leading chylous patient presenting with objective lymphangiographic findings rather than We present case pleural effusion signs...

We present two female nonsmoker Buerger's disease cases with anticardiolipin autoantibodies and a poor prognosis. One was 64-year-old who has had multiple lower upper extremity amputations, while the other 32-year-old visceral artery involvement. Since both were positive for antibodies, we speculate that is an autoimmune disorder.

The diagnosis coarctation was made in 1997. patient did not agree undergo any invasive or therapeutic procedures at that time.
