Based on existing triaxial compression experimental data, a new empirical failure criterion with wide applicability was proposed considering hydrostatic pressure, second stress invariance, and maximum shear stress. Four fitting evaluation indicators were used to verify the consistency of criterion, differences other 6 criteria discussed. The characteristics in principal space finally analyzed. results indicate that (1) exhibits strong predictive ability for experiments has good both intact...
Underground reservoir water storage technology has become one important way to achieve efficient coal mining and resource protection in the western areas of China, width pillar dams is an factor affecting safe operation underground reservoirs. In order study limitations on reasonable size a dam, Daliuta Mine was selected as engineering background theoretical formula for dam proposed. By combining analysis with numerical simulation analysis, main influencing factors were compared analyzed....
Thermal stability after recalescence of the single-phase supersaturated granular grains prepared in Co-15 at.%Cu immiscible alloy melt was investigated. As for undercooled Co–Cu alloy, a transition from dendritic to crystals occurred when Δ T ≥ ∗, which induced by an abrupt change growth mechanism solute-controlled purely thermally-controlled growth. However, effect led grain and solute segregation trapped Cu boundaries. On this basis, thermo-kinetic model applicable nano-scale materials...
