Objective: to study the antitumor effects of organic lithium salt (lithium ascorbate) in different doses comparison with inorganic (carbonate). Material and methods. Two series experiments were carried out on effect preparations dynamics transplantable Lewis lung carcinoma (LLC) growth metastasis F1 mice (CBA × C 57 Bl/6j). In first series, a comparative ascorbate (1 10 mg/kg/day based elemental lithium) was performed, second made carbonate when used at same dose (5 mg/kg/day). Results....

Background. Lithium salts are used in psychiatry and may exhibit neuroprotective effects due to anion constituents. Objective: study a dose-dependent effect of oral lithium ascorbate (LiAsc) carbonate on manifestation severity primary generalized seizures caused by thiosemicarbazide rats vivo . Material methods. The was conducted 30 Wistar white male weighing 200–300 g five groups: control, 5 mg/kg, LiAsc 5, 10, 15 mg/kg/day, administered probing for 14 days. model reproduced...

Lithium ascorbate (LiAsc) is a non-toxic lithium salt (LD50>5000 mg/kg) with normothymic and neuroprotective properties. Chemoreactomic modeling of LiAsc predicted possible hepatoprotective effects which were tested here on rat model non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) multiorgan pathology caused by combined intake excess saturated fats (palm oil), carbohydrates (fructose) inorganic iron (ferrous sulfate). Dynamics biochemical parameters (biomarkers function, kidneys,...

In this work, we study the neuroprotective properties of lithium ascorbate in vivo and vitro stress models. Neurocytological behavioral studies were carried out on models both a culture nerve cells experimental animals. The studied drug showed significant effect neuronal cultures exposed to glutamate toxicity an adaptogenic rats. results suggest that possess high potential .
