Solar-driven photocatalytic dehalogenation and mineralization of halogenated organic pollutants (HOPs) remain challenging. In this study, we develop a dual-site confined g-C3N4-based catalyst, doped with cerium enriched nitrogen vacancies (Ce-FCNV), for sequential anaerobic-aerobic system targeting deep treatment HOPs-contaminated wastewater. The Ce-FCNV catalyst exhibits dramatic enhancement in activity, degradation rate 4-CP 36.04 times higher than pristine g-C3N4. Remarkably, it achieves...

Nano-composite films were developed between silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) and a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) using master batches by melt extruding compounding. The Ag/PE composite film showed decreased gas permeability, moisture permeability coefficient, the tear strength, longitudinal transverse elongation to that of commercial LDPE. Although stiffness increased at high Ag (40 ppm) concentration, but tensile strength enhance comparing with PE. Light transmittance haze comparable. Both...

The bacterial inactivation of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus on antimicrobial cotton textiles was investigated under different experimental conditions with novel, stable Ag colloids fixed textiles, which were synthesized using short‐chain polyethylene glycol as a solvent stabilizer, well coreducing agent. Transmission electron microscopy analysis showed that stable, spherical metal particles, 3–20 nm in diameter well‐crystallized structure, obtained by ascorbic acid X‐ray...

Silver-dendrimer nanocomposites are synthesized in the presence low generation poly(amido amine) dendrimers with terminal amine groups employing silver nitrate as precursor and sodium borohydride reduction agent. The parameters including addition of oxalic acid dendrimer that influence particle size nanoparticles discussed. Under optimized conditions, a series silver-dendrimer average diameter ranging from 7.6 nm to 16.2 by varying molar ratio nitrate. utilized antibacterial agents...

Microbially synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) with high stability and bioactivity have recently shown considerable promise in biomedical research application. In this study, AgNPs prepared by Penicillium aculeatum Su1 exhibited effective antibacterial action inhibiting bacterial growth destroying cellular structure. Meanwhile, their assessed increased fold area (IFA) through the Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method proved that, showed synergistic effect on different bacteria when...

Abstract O3-type layered oxides are widely investigated as cathodes for Na-ion batteries (SIBs) due to their high theoretical capacities and splendid initial Coulombic efficiency. However, they suffer from fast capacity fading owing the complicated phase transformations, especially in cut-off voltage (>4 V). Herein, Ti Co elements were simultaneously introduced O3-Na(Ni 0.3 Fe 0.2 Mn 0.5 ) 0.85 0.1 0.05 O 2 (NFMTC) cathode material, effects of Ti/Co co-doping on structure electrochemical...
