This paper presents a new, simple and effective edge detection algorithm based on support vector machine (SVM), because of the disadvantages in traditional image methods, such as rough edge, noise inaccurate location. Based least squares SVM with Gaussian radial basis function kernel, set new gradient operators corresponding second derivative are obtained. The experimental results indicate that proposed detector is greatly improved comparing methods.
