This work presents the application of asymptotic homogenization method to a problem which models mechanical equilibrium functionally graded microperiodic Euler-Bernoulli beams clamped at both ends and subjected distributed load. The five-term formal solution is obtained in terms homogenized periodic solutions local problems, for whose existence new result presented.
