We present a measurement of the branching fraction and photon energy spectrum for decay B --> X_s gamma using data from BaBar experiment. The sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity 210 fb^{-1}, which approximately 680 000 BB events are tagged by fully reconstructed hadronic one mesons. In second meson, isolated high--energy is identified. measure BR(B gamma) = (3.66 +- 0.85_{stat} 0.60_{syst}) x 10^{-4} energies E_gamma above 1.9 GeV in rest frame. From measured we calculate first...
Using 385 fb^-1 of e^+e^- collision data collected at center-of-mass energies around 10.6 GeV, we search for time-integrated CP violation in the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays D0/D0bar --> pi^- pi^+ pi^0 and K^- K^+ pi^0. Our model-independent model-dependent analyses show no evidence these decays. The intermediate amplitudes include well-defined flavor states [e.g., rho(770)^+- pi^-+, K*(892)^+- K^-+] CP-odd eigenstates rho(770)^0 pi^0, phi(1020) pi^0]. With null results previous CP-even...
We present searches for the leptonic decays ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{+}\ensuremath{\nu}$ and lepton flavor violating ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{\ensuremath{\tau}}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$, where $\ensuremath{\ell}=e$, $\ensuremath{\mu}$, with data collected by BABAR experiment at SLAC. This search demonstrates a novel technique in which we fully reconstruct accompanying $\overline{B}$...
We report a Dalitz-plot analysis of the charmless hadronic decays neutral $B$ mesons to ${K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$. With sample $(231.8\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2.6)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}\mathit{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}B\overline{B}$ collected by BABAR detector at PEP-II asymmetric-energy Factory SLAC, we measure magnitudes and phases intermediate resonant nonresonant...
The "\tau\to 3\pi\eta\nu" decay with the "\eta \to \gamma\gamma" mode is studied using 384 fb^-1 of data collected by BaBar detector. branching fraction measured to be (1.60+/-0.05+/-0.11)x10^-4. It found that "\tau f1 \pi \nu 3\pi \eta \nu" dominant a (1.11+/-0.06+/-0.05)x10^-4. first error on fractions statistical and second systematic. In addition, 90% confidence level upper limit \eta'(958) 7.2x10^-6. This last proceeds through second-class current expected forbidden in isospin symmetry.
We perform a measurement of the CP asymmetry in b-->sgamma decays using sample 383 x 10(6) B[over] B events collected by BABAR detector at SLAC PEP-II asymmetric factory. reconstruct 16 flavor-specific decay modes containing high-energy photon and hadronic system X_(s) an s quark. measure to be -0.011+/-0.030(stat)+/-0.014(syst) for mass between 0.6 2.8 GeV/c(2).
We present constraints on the angle γ of unitarity triangle with a Dalitz analysis neutral D decays to KSπ+π− from processes B0→¯¯¯D0K*0 (¯¯¯B0→D0¯¯¯¯K*0) and B0→D0K*0 (¯¯¯B0→¯¯¯D0¯¯¯¯K*0) K*0→K+π− (¯¯¯¯K*0→K−π+). Using sample 371×106 B¯¯¯B pairs collected BABAR detector at PEP-II, we constrain as function rS, magnitude average ratio between b→u b→c amplitudes.Received 15 May 2008DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.79.072003©2009 American Physical Society
We present for the first time a measurement of weak phase $2\ensuremath{\beta}+\ensuremath{\gamma}$ obtained from time-dependent Dalitz plot analysis ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}{K}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ decays. Using sample approximately $347\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs collected by BABAR detector at PEP-II asymmetric-energy storage rings and assuming ratio $r$ $b\ensuremath{\rightarrow}u$...
This paper compares different methods of using a large language model (GPT-3.5) for creating synthetic training data retrieval-based conversational character. The are in the form linked questions and answers, which allow classifier to retrieve pre-recorded answer an unseen question; intuition is that could predict what human users might ask, thus saving effort collecting real user as data. Results show small improvements test performance all datasets. However, trained on only amounts...
The BABAR experiment is the particle detector at new PEP-II "B factory" facility Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. experiment's goal detailed study of fundamental phenomenon charge-parity symmetry breaking in B meson decays. Within detector's online system, Online Event Processing subsystem (OEP) provides for near real-time processing data delivered from acquisition system's event builder. It supports four principal tasks: final "Level 3" software trigger, rapid-feedback fast quality...
