In this paper, laminated visco-elastic material (VEM) is proposed in order to increase compressive stiffness of VEM supporting the floor slab, and compression shear characteristics are presented based on test shaking table respectively.As a result, it revealed that great can be achieved by using VEM, high reduction effect seismic responses obtained even if other mechanisms weight not used.Furthermore, confirmed maximum evaluated modifying from past research.
