In this study, a novel NbC reinforced Fe40.5(CoCr)25Mn17.5Ni10Si5 high entropy alloy (HEA) was designed, which exhibits strength and ductility at room temperature. This prepared through hot forging annealing treatments, exhibited the FCC microstructure with discrete nano-sized M23C6 carbides precipitation. The studied HEA retained tensile of 863 MPa, an outstanding 58 %. evolution deformation mechanisms were further investigated. mechanism mainly governed by nano-scale defect heterogeneity...
This article studies the shrinkage porosity model for steel ingots with reduction deformation during solidification, and examines effect of on porosity. Initial investigations involve conducting experiments ingot entailing laboratory‐based high‐temperature melting jack process, a focus diverse amounts cooling times before reduction. Post‐experimental procedures include sample sectioning, acid etching, low‐magnification structural analysis. Following this, numerical simulations are employed...
