Venous malformations (VMs) represent prevalent vascular anomalies typically attributed to non-inherited somatic mutations within venous endothelial cells (VECs). The lack of robust disease models for VMs impedes drug discovery. Here, we devise a protocol the generation human induced VECs (iVECs) through manipulation cell-cycle dynamics via retinoic signaling pathway. We introduce an L914F mutation into TIE2 gene locus pluripotent stem (iPSCs) and show that mutated iVECs form dilated blood...

The number of frail older people is increasing. To alleviate poor health and improve quality life, pre-frail need to adhere their medication. Yet, studies examining the connection between social capital (including six dimensions) medication adherence are currently scarce. Therefore, this study aims examine relationship in individuals with pre-frailty frailty, respectively. Information concerning socio-demographics, capital, 4218 participants was collected through a structured questionnaire...

The health of older people, especially functional ability, has become a hot topic for scholars in various countries. There is insufficient research on the urban-rural disparity ability people. This study aimed to explore gap people and related influencing factors. data analyzed this were collected through cross-sectional survey conducted China. Furthermore, binary logistic regression was utilized assess relationship between independent variables, Oaxaca-blinder decomposition used differences...

There is a lack of research on how vegetable and fruit consumption patterns affect cognitive function in older adults with varying BMIs. Therefore, this study aims to explore their relationship, special focus gender differences. A cross-sectional survey was conducted Anhui Province, China, between July September 2019, information collected from 6211 participants regarding socio-demographics, the frequency per week, function. The utilized descriptive analysis binary logistic regression...

Oral health and frailty are significantly related should be well examined, especially in late life. Few studies have explored the relationship of oral knowledge, attitudes, practices with examined sociodemographic variations this association. This study aimed to examine association between frailty, a special focus on comparing differences their among Chinese community-dwelling older population. This included 4218 adults (aged ≥ 60 years) who participated cross-sectional survey....

Abstract Background With advances in science and technology improvements health literacy, more studies have focused on frailty prevention by promoting medication adherence, emphasizing the role of eHealth literacy. However, association between literacy adherence frail older adults has not been well studied, it is unknown whether urban-rural differences exist this relationship. Objective This study aims to examine relationship people with different statuses, variations rural urban areas....

Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) hold great promise for applications in regenerative medicine and disease modeling. Here, we present a protocol establishing edited hPSC cell lines utilizing visualized orthogonal selective reporters. We describe steps constructing plasmids, carrying out culture electroporation, as well performing drug-fluorescent dual enrichment, clone screening, line characterization. This facilitates the achievement of single-base homozygous mutations reporter knockins,...

This paper proposes a heuristic algorithm for fast mining association rules by multidimensional scaling (MDS). It takes the similarity measurements as MDS proximities and develops practical model to generate decentralized configuration of points that represent stops on vehicle routes. extends SMACOF steps grouping join. The experiments show novel has much higher efficiency than Apriori especially when long patterns in transportation system.

A connected signed graph Ġ, where all blocks of it are positive cliques or negative (of possibly varying sizes), is called a block graph. Let A, N and D̃ be adjacency, net Laplacian distance matrices graph, respectively. In this paper the formulas for determinant were given firstly. Then inverse (resp. Moore-Penrose inverse) obtained if nonsingular singular), which sum Laplacian-like matrix at most two with rank 1.

This paper proposes a novel ant colony optimization named MMAS-MDS algorithm (max-min system extended by multidimensional scaling) for solving the traveling salesman problem more effectively in congested transportation systems. Global heuristic information related to time-distance is put into probabilistic selection rule of tour construction. It provides global guides promising explorations and makes up insufficiency local when travel time violates triangular inequality. Experimental results...
